HTC has announced two new phones that will run Microsoft upcoming Windows 8 operating system: the HTC Windows phone 8X and the Windows phone 8S.These phones are brightly colored than any other Android or Apple phones in the market.These two phones are the first HTC phones which runs on Windows OS.Previous smartphones runs only on Android OS.It has very unique shape with a tapered,super slim-shape.Since Windows 8 is yet to be released Microsoft still want to keep many features under wraps so lets see about the features of these two smartphones.

The HTC windows phone 8X is made of polycarbonate and comes in blue.red or yellow.IF you dig the more traditional smartphone look it comes in black too,but these bright colours are really where is it at.The area surrounding the display is black but the color of the phone is echoed in the earpiece grillle above HTC's logo.There's hardly any bezel around the glass at all, which makes the device feel really classy. The matte polycarbonate is soft to touch and gives the phone grippy texture.It's relatively lightweight and very comfortable to hold.The industrial design features rounded corners and tapered edges and the colors keep the things light.
The phone is 4.3 inch 720p HD super LCD 2 display looked sharp in person.The phone has 8MP camera along with the same chip,have performed well as cameras;their flagship feature is snapping a bunch of photos very quickly letting you pick the best one.there's also a 2.1 MP front facing camera with and f/2.0 wide angle lens.IT records stereo sound also.
Windows phone is a fast operating system in general, but the Windows phone 8X is powered by a fast operating system in general but 8X is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm snapdragon S4, which should make for a topnotch gaming performance .HTC also enhanced many features in Beats audio to the phone.Those include 2.55 volt audio amplifier which is supposed to deliver clearer sound through headphones and speakers than most phones do.
Other specs include 16GB built-in memory but no memory card slot, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n including the 5GHz band, Bluetooth 4.0 and FM radio and NFC although carriers and decline NFC as an option.

HTC WINDOWS PHONE 8S:
The 8S has a similar tapered design to the 8X and it's made of the same polycarbonate material but , its smaller and flatter with the speakerphone near the top of the back rather than the bottom.It comes in black, red and blue.The phone just as responsive as the 8X although we didnt get a chance to run any apps on it.
This phone was powered by 1 GHz dual-core Qualcomm S4 MSM8627.The Windows 8S features a slightly smaller screen than 8X measuring 4 inch 800 by 480 pixel super LCD which looked nice, though a bit dark.It has 5MP rear facing camera with 720p stereo video recording as well as HTC's Imagechip but there's no front facing camera so you wont be video chatting on this one.
Other specs of this phone include 4GB of storage but a memory card slot in this, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Beats audio and FM radio.The high features of the 8X is cropped to find a less expensive smartphone that everyone can use.Thus 8S will be a cost efficient smartphone with powerful packing and stunning Windows 8 OS.
The HTC Windows phone 8X and 8S will be available in November from AT&T,T-mobile and Verizon.Pricing and exact release date are not yet available.The prices and release date will be announced at a Microsoft event towards the end of the October.
