This year can be called as the year of smartwatches as leading companies like Apple and Samsung already announced that they working upon smartwatches.Google is now set to join this list as they were working on their new smartwatch.The sources reported to financial times that Google is developing a watch to work "as an extension to the smartphone using [Android].Moreover the reports added that the Google's smartwatch is being developed in the company's Android unit rather than in the X lab where the company's other wearable product Google glass oirginated.
As we all know that Google is not new for wearable computing system and this smartwatch is reported to be an extension for Android mobile that means it syncs with the mobile easily and they are likely offer these services alerts,email,activity monitoring,location monitoring,health monitoring,apps remainder,telephony,SMS,Audio recording and two factor authentication.
